Our award winning Very Chatty Café offers a warm space, friendship, a community atmosphere where anyone is welcome. Some say it is an ever-expanding family.- 2nd Friday of each Month 10:30 - 12:45 with Snack Lunch

We meet in The Belmont Centre on the second and last Fridays of the month, excluding August. This runs from 10:30am until 12:45pm, providing refreshments mid-morning followed by a hot meal at 12:15pm. We include a generous raffle, a quiz, activities, jigsaws, a book swap, and we celebrate birthdays.
On the 1st and 3rd Friday's of the month, we run the Seedling Café. Everyone is welcome to join us between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
We have special events, special speakers, mark notable calendar dates and provide a programme of our dates and events, copies of which are in the foyer of the Belmont Centre. If you wish you can arrive, sit, enjoy the refreshments, and relax or bring your knitting, crochet or your companion dog.
We have taken part in the Children's Parade at the Uckfield Carnival in the past three years and hope to again (a second childhood!). We also provide an exhibition as part of the Holy Cross Festival of Christmas Trees.

Some of the VCC team have also under taken Dementia Awareness training to ensure we can support those on a Dementia journey and their carer's. We want to ensue everyone feels welcome to come and join in.
